Welcome to The Defenders

Our Team

The Douglas County Defenders, our mission is to build great leaders through the game of football. We go beyond the scoreboard-teaching our athletes the importance of strong character, discipline, and community involvement.

We believe that every player can become:

A leader on and off the field.
A dedicated student in the classroom.
A respectful son or daughter at home.
A positive role model in the community.

Our Core Values:

Education First-Academic excellence is the foundation of success. We strive for every athlete to achieve greatness in the classroom before they ever take the field.

Leadership and Character- We develop confident, respectful leaders who make a difference wherever they go,

Family and Community-We teach our players to be great members of their families and active contributors to their neighborhoods.

Goal setting and Consistency- Success begins with daily habits. Our players learn to set goals, stay consistent, and follow through-both in sports and in life.

Service before Self- Through volunteering and community involvement, our athletes learn the value of giving back.

Our Commitment:

We are dedicated to creating an environment that inspires growth, discipline, and pride. Every practice, every game, and every community service project helps shape our young athletes into leaders of tomorrow.
